The whole custom frame building experience is based on a dialogue, in which the frame builder gets to know the customer. From the very beginning the customer is explained the different aspects of geometry, handling and fitting and thereby achieves a deeper knowledge of bicycle design. The customer’s body and bike is measured and various experiences, preferences and problems are analyzed. Also riding style, purpose, technical level, fork dimensions and components are taken into consideration. All of this information, numbers and figures are translated into a CAD drawn design of the frame.

After the approval of the design by the customer the nine tubes, the dropouts, and braze-ons are chosen. Each tube is checked for irregularities and straightness. The butt length is measured and marked in order to optimize the strength/weight variables. By combining tubes with various profiles, diameters and thickness the frame can be tuned to have a specific ride quality.
